A Transformational Journey to the Truth of Higher Consciousness.

Are we spiritual beings living a human existence?

I’ve had an interesting dance with religion, spirituality, and metaphysical experiences. Originally raised Agnostic in a small village in England, my only interaction and understanding of churches was appreciation of the architecture as my stepmom and I participated in the art and practice of brass rubbing. In my early years there was no talk of “God” or “the afterlife” or any such esoterica. Despite the fact that my mother died when I was two years old, I don’t recall anyone ever telling me “she’s in heaven now” or anything similar. Concurrently, from a very early age I began experiencing paranormal phenomena without any established framework with which to analyze the events. Not to mention, I was obviously much too young to even begin grasping the full meaning and impact of my experiences.

Today, at age 42, I continue my journey toward greater spiritual enlightenment, enrichment, and understanding. Yet, as a trained scientist and mostly skeptical Agnostic, I come at it from a cautious angle. I want nothing more to believe, yet I am fully aware of how powerful the mind can be. I wish to avoid being swept away in starry-eyed blissful delusions and base my conclusions on more solid ground. How does one tell the difference between a true paranormal event or spiritual encounter from that of delusional fantasy? Does the paranoid schizophrenic truly hear voices from beyond? Or are they merely delusional ramblings from synapses decayed with mental illness? Is there such a thing as an afterlife? Reincarnation? Astral Projection? Remote Viewing? No one can, with absolute certainty, know the answers to these questions. But how does one — how do I — get to a point of belief with conviction?

I’d also like to further explore energetics, including the recycling and use of energy. For example, do spirits really communicate using Electronic Voice Phenomenon (EVP)? Is there residual energy left behind when the physical body is no longer necessary? Do ghosts or earthbound spirits really exist, and if so, how does that inter-relate to reincarnation? Or does it? How does all this fit in with the Law of Thermodynamics? i.e. “Energy can neither be created nor destroyed, only rearranged.”

I’d like to further explore the theory of Quantum Physics in relation to the time space continuum creating a doorway to higher consciousness. What about Multi-Dimensional Consciousness? Making the presumption that astral projection and remote viewing do exist, is it possible to awaken and experience a level of spiritual development that makes such practices as astral projection and remote viewing obsolete?

As we draw closer to 2012, there can be no doubt that there is an elevated vibration that can be felt around the world. The Mayans described the year 2012 as a time of transformation and transition into a new cycle – a new age.
